PROJECT OVERVIEW
About the project
Gwangju Road Guardian is part of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Regional Smart City Development Project. Using data from its data hub, this map-based road safety management system collects field-reported road hazards—such as potholes, rockfalls, and road obstacles—using location data and photos, while centralizing resolution tracking. Users and field staff can view hazard locations and statuses on a map and register details such as photos, addresses, hazard types, and repair status. Reports are managed through three stages: pending, in progress, and completed. Task and notification features allow teams to track progress by assignee. The admin system provides dashboards and charts covering overall reporting and resolution status, hazard distribution, top hazard areas, status by administrative district, and statistics by hazard type. The user web app, admin system, mobile service, and backend API were built as separate components, enabling field and office teams to share the same information and respond quickly.
