Privacy Notice for Project Inquiries and Free-tool Feedback

1. Purpose and information collected

Project inquiries — required: company, contact name, email, phone, inquiry content, consent time and policy version; optional: attachments and pasted images. Purpose: review, reply, follow-up discussions, and handling history.

Free-tool feedback — required: program, version, category, and feedback; optional: reply email, app locale, platform, OS version, and a random installation ID. Purpose: investigate bugs, improve features, reply, and aggregate product-level statistics.

For both services, we generate a submission time and use a one-way connection identifier for duplicate and abuse prevention without retaining the raw IP address.

2. Retention

Project inquiries and files are kept for one year after the inquiry is closed, unless an administrator deletes them earlier or a valid deletion request is completed.

Free-tool feedback and an optional email address are kept for one year from receipt.

Rate-limit identifiers are deleted within 48 hours. Where a separate legal obligation or dispute requires retention, only the necessary information is segregated and kept for the applicable period.

3. Storage and deletion

Contact name, email, and phone are encrypted before storage in PostgreSQL. Inquiry files are stored outside the public web path and can be downloaded only from an allowed administrator network.

When retention ends or an approved deletion request is completed, database records, pasted images, and attachments are deleted so they are not readily recoverable.

4. Notifications and external services

Email and Slack may be used to alert our team. Alerts contain only a reference, submission time, and non-identifying product information for free tools. They do not contain contact details, inquiry or feedback text, or attachments.

5. Security measures

Administrator pages and file APIs are restricted to approved networks. We also apply encryption, one-way connection identifiers, server-side HTML sanitization, image re-encoding, file type and size limits, and notification delivery records.

Do not include national identifiers, account passwords, health data, or other sensitive information that is not necessary to answer the inquiry.

6. Your choice and rights

You may decline consent, but we cannot accept an online inquiry without the required information.

An email address is optional for free-tool feedback, and feedback can be submitted without it.

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing for your personal information.
